After such a beautiful sunny day in Bermuda I woke this morning donned the cossies and went up to breakfast with the idea of spending the morning trying to get the sun tan back.
Wrong!!!! By the time I filled my porridge bowl and walked outside, the announcement came up on deck that we will be about to sail into a shower.... hmm not shower, maybe rain.... as it lasted most of the day.... Back inside we go...
Suddenly the rain stopped not a breath of wind and the waters so calm and still, that you would have thought we were in a lake and not an ocean. The water was like glass and only the movement of the ship was causing any ripple effect.... With the cloudy sky and the grey sea you could not see in the horizon where the sea ended and sky started....... do do do do, do do do do......... We were alone, the only other sign of life was the unusual yellow cans floating by ... could this be remnants of those who have travelled before us and my not have reached the other side....... the fog started rolling in again.....
Luckily by the time we went to dinner, the fog had lifted the sea returned to it’s lively self and we have survived to visit another port.....
Dinner... did I mention dinner.... Formal night again, but all made bearable because there was lobster on the menu tonight.... lucky the tails were only the size of a big king prawn ... cause tonight I had 4....... Did someone ask me if I got sick of lobster..... *giggle giggle giggle* not likely.....
